Author Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation:

a. Format: All manuscripts should be submitted in digital format as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).

b. Font and Size: Use a standard font such as Times New Roman or Arial, with a font size of 12 points.

c. Line Spacing: Double-space the entire manuscript, including the title page, abstract (if applicable), main text, references, and any appendices.

d. Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively, starting from the title page.

e. Word Count: Include the total word count of your manuscript on the title page.

Title Page:

The title page should contain the following information:

Title of the Work: Use a clear and descriptive title that accurately represents your manuscript.

Author's Name: Provide the full name of the author(s).

Contact Information: Include the author's email address and mailing address for correspondence.

Word Count: For novels, novellas, and anthologies, include the word count on the title page.

Abstract (For Research Works):

If your submission falls under a research or academic category, include an abstract summarizing the main objectives, methodology, and findings of the work. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.

Citations and References:

a. Citations: Use parenthetical citations within the main text to acknowledge sources and avoid plagiarism. For example: (Author, Year) or (Author1 & Author2, Year).

b. References: Include a separate "References" section at the end of the manuscript, listing all cited sources in alphabetical order by the author's last name.

c. Citation Formats: For guidance on common citation formats (APA, MLA, Chicago), please refer to the respective style guides. Ensure consistency throughout the manuscript.

Here are some examples of common citation formats:

Book: Author(s). (Year). Title of the Book. Publisher.

Journal Article: Author(s). (Year). Title of the Article. Title of the Journal, Volume(Issue), Page range.

Website: Author(s) or Organization. (Year). Title of the Web Page. URL.

Copyright and Originality:

By submitting your work to PEARNET PUBLISHING, you affirm that the work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights of others. Any previously published material should be properly attributed, and permission obtained as necessary.
